Pastor Steven Trudel
In the fall of 2013 Steve began his first full-time ministry position as Assistant Pastor here at CCBAC. On March 5, 2017, Pastor Steve was installed as Lead Pastor. He married Alison in our church in 1994 and has felt blessed to be a part of our church family ever since. After owning a painting company for over fifteen years, Steve heard a call from the Lord to prepare for full-time ministry, and in 2010, Steve and Alison, along with his four children found themselves living at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary where Steve pursued his Master of Divinity degree. Upon graduation in 2013, the entire family’s testimony was one of profound gratitude for the Lord’s faithfulness and a deep sense of expectancy for what the Lord had for them next, and it was with amazement that they watched the Lord open the door for Steve to join our staff here at CCBAC.
Steve greatest passion in life is following Jesus, studying and proclaiming the His word and seeing the Lord at work in the life of His people both locally and to the ends of the earth. Steve loves the Cape and you may find him on occasion wading its shores in pursuit of striped bass or warming himself in its sand with his family. Steve, his wife Alison, and their four children live in Brewster.
Pastor Myron Heckman
Pastor of Pulpit Ministries
Pastor Myron Heckman is committed to proclaiming the Good News that we have in Jesus Christ, because we need it every day. He is the first pastor of the congregation, having arrived at the end of March, 1978. He counts Cape Cod as a wonderful place to live, and the congregation as a privilege to serve. He is a graduate of Crown College (Minn) and Alliance Theological Seminary (NY) and was ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance in 1981.
His greatest joy is to see God at work in a life. His goal in preaching is to "say the same thing as the Scripture" while always finding the Good News of Christ in the text. He is married to Rita and they have three daughters and six grandchildren. They live in Brewster.
Pastor Matt Baumgartner
Next Generation Pastor
Pastor Matt Baumgartner came to CCBAC as Next Generation Pastor in March of 2015. He grew up in southwestern Connecticut, and is a New York Giants fan by birth but a Boston Bruins fan by choice. Matt grew up in a Roman Catholic home, and at the invite of a friend, began attending youth group at a protestant church in 6th grade. Following a mission trip to West Virginia after his 8th grade year, Matt gave his life to Christ and began to fully pursue a relationship with Him.
After a couple of years of college Matt heard the Lord call him to ministry. He finished his undergraduate degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at Gordon College, and holds a Master in Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Matt’s goal for ministry is to help build life-long disciples of Christ through the love and support of a multi-generational family of faith. His favorite book is The Seven Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton, and his hobbies include hiking, reading, grilled meats, and spending time with people.
Matt and his wife Taylor have been married since December 2010. They, and their sons Jack & Levi, currently live in Brewster.
Paula lives in South Dennis with her husband John and college age daughter.
