J-1 OUTREACH Ministry
With more than 3,500 international J-1 students working and residing on the Cape for the Summer CCBAC, partners with other areas churches to offer opportunities in experiencing American culture. Relationships are formed and seeds planted, through two signature orientation dinners, Family Friendship Partners, regular on-going planned beach bonfires, and regional travel activities. Over the years we have connected with close to 20% of the students who come for the summer in some fashion, offering support and encouragement throughout their stay.

Envision is a ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). Envision identifies and develops missional leaders who innovate, establish, and strengthen communities of faith in key urban environments. They do this through short-term trips, internships, leadership development, and ministry opportunities in the Alliance family. Envision has a site in Providence, Rhode Island. Our church partners with this site.
Driven by a desire to share the love of Christ with our neighbors and recognizing the many needs of the seniors in our communities, Dottie’s Ministry began in the fall of 2014. Partnering with Brewster’s Council on Aging volunteers help meet some very basic needs of our seniors. Some provide rides to medical appointments, others run errands, while others help with small household tasks. Also, several volunteers provide much desired companionship through weekly visits to specific residents in area nursing homes.
Champ Homes, located in Hyannis, is a faith-based residential community seeking to bring restoration and hope to the homeless. Our church has come alongside the residents of Champ Homes in a variety of ways. With the assistance of the residents we have established raised vegetable beds, help maintain the garden on a regular basis, and share the produce during cookouts held throughout summer. These efforts not only yield fresh food for the residents, but also offer the added benefit of providing a platform for building relationships through which the gospel of Christ may be shared in word and deed. In 2016 we will be expanding the garden and planning other meaningful activities with the residents.
